Return of the Football Picks

Finally, it's football season.

TheBostonInsider is back with his weekly picks column and, as a present to all of you loyal readers, I have posted Kenny Chesney's "The Boys of Fall" music video to get you into the proper mood.

Just in case you forgot, I pick every NFL game (starting next week) and hand pick five college games and pick which team that I think will cover the spread.  I either use the Boston Herald (the "Bible") or BoDog for the spreads.  Today I'm using BoDog because I had my daughter this morning and could not get to the store.

I keep a running tally of my record and post it every week.  To start, I have posted last year's record against the spread for the college games which was, for me, a fairly impressive five games over .500.

As for this week's picks...

NCAA

Oregon (-3.5) over Louisiana State (game in Dallas)
Boise State (-3) over GEORGIA
BALL STATE (+6) over Indiana
NORTHERN ILLINOIS (-11) over Army
MICHIGAN (-14) over Western Michigan
