1. Jacoby Ellsbury, CF
2. Dustin Pedroia, 2B
3. Adrian Gonzalez, 1B
4. Kevin Youkilis, 3B
5. David Ortiz, DH
6. Carl Crawford, LF
7. Josh Reddick, RF
8. Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C
9. Marco Scutaro, SS

Three Strikes:

1. Game 100 is a perfect time to look back on the Red Sox horrible 2-10 start that had many people in Boston ready to give up and reflect on their amazing 60-27 run since then.

In that time period Josh Beckett has emerged as a Cy Young favorite, Daniel Bard and Jonathan Papelbon have become a devistating 1-2 combo at the end of the game, and Adrian Gonzalez, Jacoby Ellsbury, and Dustin Pedroia have put up MVP worthy numbers.

2. Lester's return comes at the perfect time.  John Lackey, Kyle Weiland, Andrew Miller, and Tim Wakefield have kept the Red Sox rolling along but to win the World Series, this team needs Lester, Beckett, and a healthy Clay Buchholz to be pitching.

3. J.D. Drew's move to the disabled list is probably the last step before getting designated for assignment and the end of his Red Sox career.
