Mark Herzlich, New England Patriot?

Just in case Bill Belichick is reading tonight.

The lockout is over and teams can sign rookies beginning at 10am tomorrow. Herzlich would be a great fit with the Patriots at outside linebacker because he can rush the passer, stuff the run, and drop into coverage.

On top of that, the courage he showed in returning to the field after successfully fighting cancer is the mark of toughness that Belichick loves in his Patriots.

Herzlich's football ability and strong character would make him an ideal member of the Patriots.
