Every once in a while, Blogger does not publish my posts. This happens when I use the Blogger iPhone application and that was the case yesterday when I went to post my Super Bowl pick while I was tending bar.
My pick was Seattle. I thought it would be a close game - I thought the score would be 23-21 and I put down a small investment on Seattle (+2) and Seattle to win be exactly 2 points (+2500) - but my pick was correct.
So, my final records for the 2013 season are 116-135-4 in the regular season, 3-3-3 in the playoffs, and 119-138-7 overall. Not my best season.
I'm sad to think that football is done until August. The draft and free agency will keep the NFL in the news but it's not the same as waking up on a Sunday morning with the knowledge there are games to watch all day long.
