Before we get to this weekend's playoff picks, a note that I went 2-3 in my BCS Bowl Game picks to finish the college season at 33-39-3.

AFC
Colts (+7.5) over PATRIOTS
The Patriots will win this game but with the plethora of injuries they have suffered on both sides of the ball, I do not see them blowing out Andrew Luck and the Colts. 38-33, Patriots.
Chargers (+9) over BRONCOS
Another early exit for Peyton Manning in the playoffs? Yes sir! 41-38, Chargers.
NFC
Saints (+8) over SEAHAWKS
Another big spread covered by the road team but Drew Brees won't be able to save New Orleans this week. 27-20, Seahawks.
49ers (Pick) over PANTHERS
Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly are the backbone of a team primed to win a lot of games the next few years and maybe even a Lombardi Trophy but San Francisco's playoff tested veterans will lead them to a road win and a third consecutive appearance in the AFC Championship Game. 20-16, 49ers.
