Stanley Cup Finals Now A Best of 3

Tim Thomas has been amazing all year. His play is the most important reason why the Bruins had a successful regular season and he helped carry them past the Canadiens, Flyers, and Lightning on the way to the team's first Eastern Conference championship since 1990.

It is also why the Bruins are now just two games away from winning their first Stanley Cup since 1972.

Thomas stopped all 38 shots that the Canucks fired in his direction on Wednesday night and Rich Peverley scored two goals in the Bruins 4-0 win.

The series now heads back to Vancouver for Game 5 and the Bruins - led by their goaltender - have all the momentum and my series prediction of the Bruins in six games is looking great.
