"One Clap" For Belichick
Bill Belichick and the Patriots traded Randy Moss to the Vikings in early October. A few weeks later the Vikings released Moss, who then was claimed by the Titans.
When the Vikings trade was announced, Belichick was criticized for potentially wasting a season of Tom Brady's prime. The Patriots were 3-1 at the time.
Since the trade, the Patriots have scored impressive wins over the Ravens, Chargers, Vikings, Steelers, Colts, and Lions (sandwiched around a loss to the Browns) to move to 9-2 on the season which is good enough to be tied with the Jets for the top spot in the AFC. Brady hasn't missed a beat and has played at a very high level without his deep threat.
On the other hand, in his seven games since being dealt, Moss is a combined 1-6. Obviously he is not the only reason why the Vikings and Titans failed to find much success but Moss is also not making the kind of difference that he has become known for since being drafted by Minnesota back in 1998.
I'm hoping that Ron Borges and the other nitwits that ripped Belichick realize that when he makes a decision related to the Patriots, he is acting in the best interest of his football team and only cares about winning.
