Celtics Need to Shake It Up

The Celtics (old) age is starting to show. Even though I think that they can win a championship with their current roster, Danny Ainge might have to think seriously about making a move to infuse some needed youth into the team. I decided to mess around on ESPN's "Trade Machine" and came up with a three-way deal that works for all of the involved parties. The C's would ship Ray Allen to Sacramento while also moving Tony Allen, Brian Scalabrine, and Bill Walker to Chicago. The Bulls would send Kirk Hinrich to Boston and Luol Deng to Sacramento. The Kings would send Kevin Martin and Andres Nocioni to Boston and Kenny Thomas to Chicago. The Celtics get younger and add depth. The Kings add the expiring contract of Ray Allen and a small forward to pair with rookie star Tyreke Evans. The Bulls add four expiring contracts which will be used to attract a major free agent this summer. If this trade were to be consumated, the Celtics would look like this: 1: Rajon Rondo, Kirk Hinrich 2: Kevin Martin, Eddie House, Marquis Daniels 3: Paul Pierce, Andres Nocioni, Daniels 4: Kevin Garnett, Glen Davis, Nocioni 5: Kendrick Perkins, Rasheed Wallace, Shelden Williams
