NFL PICKS; Madden '08 Update
It was probably a fluke -- no, it was definitely a fluke -- but TheBostonInsider was pretty solid in the Week One NFL picks.
For a guy with an estimated (generously) career winning percentage lower than the average Milton High offensive lineman's bench press (still reading Coach Gameday?!?), I am actually proud of my picks.
What's that you say? A record of 8-6-1 (I missed the Indy-New Orleans "battle") isn't all that great? Well my friends, you haven't seen the Wildcats in the weightroom lately.
This week's picks (plus some college specials) by Thursday night or Friday afternoon...
I haven't given up on the Madden season quite yet. And it's not the losing in the preseason (who cares about exhibition games anyway?) that has me shying away from the action.
I just have no time. The teaching stuff has me stressed out (almost on top of things) and football sucks up my last available minutes. I'll try to get on the ball this weekend, after I crack open a 1,000 beers Saturday at the Baseball Tavern...
