Belichick; NFL Picks

Boy, does Eric Mangini ever strike me as the kind of guy who would stop the middle of a basketball game at the park and leave with his ball if a call didn't go his way. Losing 38-14 to his mentor and former team, Mangini cried to the NFL that Belichick and the Patriots were video taping his team's defensive signals. Yeah, that's why your team couldn't stop Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Wes Welker and the enticing duo of Laurence Maroney and Sammy Morris. Mangini and the Jets have sunk to a new low but it will only help the Patriots. Belichick will miss the $500,000 and the team will miss the first round draft pick (I think the Kraft's will survive their $250,000 hit) but in the end this is still a team that will roll through the AFC and then win the Super Bowl. Belichick is a master of motivation and this incident will only add fuel to the fire that rages in Foxboro. Add in the arrival of another major whiner (and the cornerstone of my Fantasy team) LaDainian Tomlinson on Sunday night and I'm sure the Pats will be clicking on all cylinders. As for the picks... After last week's 8-6-1 showing, I am pumped and jacked for my NFL picks. I'll even toss in some college specials just to keep it interesting.
