Super Bowl Sunday
On one side, we have Pittsburgh. The Steelers have 6 Super Bowl titles in their trophy case and claim a history of greatness that is defined by names like Rooney, Noll, Bradshaw, Harris, Swan, the Steel Curtain, Cowher, Roethlisberger, Ward, and Polamalu.
On the other side, we have Green Bay. The Packers have 3 Super Bowl titles but they may have an even more storied history and boast four of the greatest names in NFL history in Lambeau, Lombardi, Starr, and Favre.
It is a matchup of two of the greatest franchises in the NFL and it should be a Super Bowl that will be remembered for a long time. Both quarterbacks are playing at a very high level and both teams have hard hitting defenses that are capable of shifting momentum in a heart beat.
Check back in a little bit for my Super Bowl prediction and a few proposition bets. Until then get your spread prepared, ice down the beers (I'll be sipping Leinenkugels today), and get ready for XLV.
