Football Picks

After a forgetful 1-3 display on my part during the Wild Card round, TheBostonInsider is ready to bounce back with a perfect showing in the Divisional Round. All picks against the spread and home team in capitals. Baltimore Ravens (+3) over PITTSBURGH STEELERS Terrell Suggs is going to be a force in Pittsburgh but will look like a neutered three-legged dog next week in Foxboro. Ravens 24, Steelers 17 Green Bay Packers (+2.5) over ATLANTA FALCONS Aaron Rodgers is coming off a great week in Philadelphia and should be able to keep the momentum going against a very good Falcons team. The reason I am going against the Falcons at home is because in Week 16 they had a chance to clinch home field adantage against the Saints on Monday Night Football at home and they choked - I don't think they are ready to handle the burden of being the favorite. Packers 31, Falcons 28 Seattle Seahawks (+10) over CHICAGO BEARS The Bears are going to win but it's going to be close. Matt Hasselbeck will not finish this game - Julius Peppers will tear through the Seattle offensive line - and that will mark the beginning of the end for Pete Carroll's bunch. Bears 20, Seahawks 16 NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (-8.5) over New York Jets F-E-E-T ... FEET! FEET! FEET! Patriots 38, Jets 17 Last Week: 1 - 3 Playoffs: 1 - 3
