How tough is the NFC West?
The surprising Cardinals are off to a 4-0 start but are followed closely by the 3-1 Rams. The Seahawks and 49ers, both 2-2, are also in Arizona's rear view mirror.
Despite it being only Week 5, tonight's game in Seattle between the Seahawks and Rams has serious early season playoff implications. Seattle jumps right into the division title race with a win while a loss puts them 2.5-games behind the Cardinals heading into the weekend. The Rams, a preseason Super Bowl favorite, also risk falling back into the middle of the NFC playoff picture with a loss.
I think the Rams are a better team, but will take the points with a home team that might not have their backs to the wall yet, but they're pretty close to that wall.
