1. Sorry for no game preview the last two days.  When TheBostonInsider is tending bar at The Baseball Tavern - the place to be before and after Red Sox home games - the preview is unlikely to be posted.

2. I'm not sure why I have this feeling, other than being a lifelong Red Sox optimist, but I think this team is ready to break out and go on a run.  

John Farrell's faith in his young players will start to pay dividends and the pitching has to get better.  Both will culminate in a nice stretch of baseball for the Sox and a comfortable hold on first place by Memorial Day weekend.
