Red Sox v. Cardinals (October 24, 2013)

Game 2 - World Series (Red Sox lead 1-0)

Boston Red Sox v. St. Louis Cardinals

SP - John Lackey (10-13, 3.52) v. Michael Wacha (4-1, 2.78)

1. Ellsbury, CF
2. Victorino, RF
3. Pedroia, 2B
4. Ortiz, DH
5. Napoli, 1B
6. Gomes, LF
7. Saltalamacchia, C
8. Drew, SS
9. Bogaerts, 3B

Notes:

Wacha, acquired with the compensatory draft pick the Cardinals received from the Angels when Albert Pujols signed with L.A. after the 2011 season, has been excellent in the postseason so far and if the Red Sox are to board the plane for St. Louis with a 2-0 lead they will have to find a way to be the first team to solve him in October.

It will be no easy task but this is a team that found ways to beat David Price and Matt Moore in the ALDS, Max Scherzer, Justin Verlander, and Anibal Sanchez in the ALCS, and Adam Wainwright in Game 1 of the World Series so if any lineup can get to Wacha, it's the Red Sox.
