Just some things I'm pondering while watching Jon Lester and David Price duel at Fenway...
1. Realistically, how much longer can Fenway Park continue to be the home of the Red Sox? How does the retirement of Tom Menino as Mayor of Boston impact the future of Fenway and the Red Sox ability to seek out a new home?
2. Will the Celtics actively look to trade Paul Pierce this summer? The C's aren't getting any younger and a package of a young player and draft picks would go a long way towards securing the future of the team.
3. How much longer can the Rays afford to keep David Price? There is no way Tampa Bay can sign him as a free agent or even pay his escalating arbitration salaries and the sooner they look to deal him, the better a return they will receive in exchange for one of baseball's premiere young pitchers.
