The Celtics survived a LeBron James led comeback in the fourth quarter to win in Miami tonight, 112-107.
Ray Allen led the Green with 35 points, including a ridiculous 7-0f-9 from 3-point land, and Rajon Rondo added 8 points and 16 assists.
Rondo's dunk on top of Chris Bosh in the first quarter set the tone for this game. As great as LeBron (35 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists) was tonight, he is not getting the help he needs from Bosh or Dwayne Wade. Bosh is the biggest problem for the Heat because he does not rebound, block shots, or give his team a presence in the paint.
The Celtics are off to an impressive 7-2 start, good for first place in the Eastern Conference. They should be getting stronger as big men Shaquille O'Neal, Jermaine O'Neal, and Kendrick Perkins regain their health and guard Delonte West returns from a 10-game suspension after this Saturday's game in Memphis.
