Today's win for the Patriots was their 14th in a row over the Buffalo Bills.
When I first started to watch the NFL in the early 1990s, the Patriots were a joke and the Bills were the best team in the AFC. The Bills routinely spanked the Patriots during an era in which they won four straight AFC Championships. In my wildest imagination, I never thought the Pats would one day dominate Buffalo the way that they have in the 21st Century.
The Patriots offense looked very good against a weak Bills defense with Tom Brady passing for 252 yards and 3 touchdowns. With a young defense going through some serious growing pains, it is clear that the Patriots hopes ride on Brady and the offense as much as anytime during his career.
Next up for the Patriots are the Dolphins in Miami on Monday Night Football. It will be a tough task to "Squish the Fish" on their home field but if any player can find a way to get it done, it's Tom Brady.
