BC Football in a BCS Bowl Game? If the 6-1 Eagles (3-1 ACC) win out (vs. Buffalo, at Wake Forest, vs. Maryland, vs. Duke, at Miami) they will play in the ACC Championship Game. A win in that contest would put Tom O'Brien's team into the Orange Bowl. It's a long way to go but it is something to keep an eye on... Let 'em spin however they want, Kenny Rogers was cheating last night... The Sebastian Telfair "issue" has been blown waaaaay out of proportion. The kid has money. He likes expensive jewelery. It got stolen. Let's be glad he didn't go through what Paul Pierce did six years ago... ...Then again, if he had something to do with the rapper Fabulous getting shot a few hours later, then he should be gone from the NBA... Steve Slaton, West Virginia's filthy-good tailback, would get my vote for the Heisman, followed by Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn, Ohio State quarterback Troy Smith, and Michigan running back Mike Hart. Adrian Peterson of Oklahoma would have been in this discussion if not for his broken collarbone... Wierd. The Red Sox aren't the center of the Boston's attention this winter. I said wierd, not bad... Two NFL games I would kill to be at this year. Indianapolis Colts at New England. Chicago Bears at New England... I'm starting to warm up to Reche Caldwell, Doug Gabriel, and Chad Jackson. More importantly, so is Tom Brady... Tigers in 6. Enjoy it Detroit...
