Take That Canada
The Canadiens choked tonight in a way that I only thought the Bruins were capable of pulling off. Montreal took a 3-1 lead in the second period and a 4-3 advantage in the third but the Bruins kept fighting and eventually won 5-4 in overtime on a Michael Ryder goal.
One of the biggest plays of the night for Boston was Andrew Ference's second period that cut the Canadiens lead to 3-2. Montreal had just rattled off two goals in less than a minute to take command but Ference's blast gave his team a chance.
This series is now tied and is returning to Boston for Game 5 on Saturday. After a choke job like this, I think that the Canadiens are finished.
